Independent Editors
So you've finished your book, and you need some help with the editing. The first thing you need to do is find an editor with the right kind of experience for your type of book. Ask what kinds of books they edit, which books they edited are now published, what their fees are, and what you get for that fee. Ask for references. Then compare the answers, and choose the editor that is best for you and your book.
These are the editors who we know and recommend without reservation:
Caveats: This is not a complete list, but is a large sample of the editors you can find on the Internet. Make sure you compare experience and prices and get references before choosing an editor for you and your book.
